I am a dad and a 7th grade science teacher, which means that most of my life involves kids. I love reading YA books (because I don't feel old yet) of all types except for the really girlie stuff(there are girlie books despite what girlie book authors might try to convince you of). I like the paranormal, fantasy, dystopian (messed up normal world), and authors like John Green (hilariously smart), Neal Shusterman (funny, twisted and diverse), and Scott Westerfeld (arguably one of the most twisted and creative authors). I really like books that cause me to think about who I am and the way I live my life. I love to laugh and that's what keeps me going everyday. Any book that can make me think and laugh deserves the grand Pooh-bah (or at least the really cool order of the buffaloes hat).
